This one-hour performance was commissioned by the Berlin Forecast Festival at HKW (Haus der Kulturen der Welt).

Over two weeks of close collaboration with Tara Pandeya, I created four projected visuals — mapped landscapes that moved in dialogue with her choreography and reflected the piece’s four central themes.

Exploring expectations surrounding gender, tradition, language, and identity, Pandeya’s performance opened a transformative portal into marginalized experiences. A visual and physical space for empathy, beauty, and confrontation.
